The CCMONSTAGE Orchestra Series opens with the CCM Philharmonia and faculty artist Giora Schmidt on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019. Tickets are on sale now.

UC’s College-Conservatory of Music begins its new, five-part CCMONSTAGE Orchestra Subscription Series with the CCM Philharmonia this Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, in Corbett Auditorium.

Acclaimed violinist and faculty artist Giora Schmidt joins the CCM Philharmonia for a performance of Dvořák’s radiant Violin Concerto in A Minor for the season-opening concert. The program also includes Brahms’ second symphony and a selection of Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances.

The performance on September 20 marks the beginning of a new, five-part orchestra subscription series featuring the CCM Philharmonia collaborating with special guests like Louis Langrée and Leslie Dunner. Patrons can still buy tickets and reserve seats for all CCMONSTAGE concert subscription offerings.
